Corrections

Found a mistake? Tell us, and we will fix it.

We work hard to be accurate, and we want to know when we fall short. Whether it is a wrong number, an outdated part, a procedure that does not match your model or a broken link, please report it.

How to request a correction

Email editor@swampcoolerguide.com with:

  1. The page address (URL).
  2. The text or figure you believe is wrong.
  3. What you believe is correct, and a source if you have one (a manual page, specification sheet or published reference is ideal).

We review every request. If the evidence supports a change, we update the page, change its updated date and, for substantive errors, add an entry to the log below.

What counts as substantive

A substantive correction is one that could change a reader's decision or safety: an incorrect calculation, a wrong specification, an unsafe or incorrect procedure, a mischaracterized source or an incorrect claim about a product or company. Typos, formatting and broken links are fixed without a log entry.
